Chase and I were fighting boredom one day so I pulled up my trusty Pinterest account and next thing you know, we are pretending to be Scientists experimenting in the kitchen! What I love about this experiment is how quick and easy it is. I had all of the supplies on hand so it was perfect for a last minute boredom buster. Chase was so excited when he saw the colors swirling like magic and it launched a whole new interest in kitchen play.
What you need:
- wide bowl or pie plate
- milk
- food coloring
- dish detergent
Instructions:
- Pour milk into the pie plate
- Drop different colors of food coloring in different areas on the surface of the milk
Drip small amounts of dish detergent in each colorful circle and watch the magic swirls!
